At Kunstmuseum Brandts, you can experience Tau Lewis - Where Soft Gods Grow, a sensory exhibition featuring large textile sculptures, masks, and tapestries made from recycled textiles, hides, shells, and other found materials. The exhibition revolves around mythical beings, care, roots, and transformation, inviting you into a space where the works almost seem alive.
Tau Lewis hand-sews her materials together, and this slow craftsmanship is a key part of the works. The exhibition draws on stories of the goddess Inana and her journey through darkness, loss, and transformation, reimagined as a contemporary universe of soft forms, sound, and striking visual atmospheres. Admission: 140 kr.
