Join us for a cozy afternoon celebrating the English pop and soul singer George Michael. The event marks the 30th anniversary of his legendary MTV Unplugged session in London – a performance that has since earned its place among music history's most acclaimed live recordings from 1990s MTV. The music features intimate and sensitive renderings of his major hits such as Fastlove, Father Figure and Everything She Wants, together painting a picture of his artistic significance.
During the day you'll have access to Odense Music Library's extensive collection of George Michael material – including CDs, LPs, sheet music and books, which you can borrow to take home the same day. Entertainment also includes film clips and music playback from his career, as well as a music quiz where prizes await knowledgeable participants. Admission is 30 kr, and the event takes place at the Music Library Odense.
