On Sunday, October 4th, you are invited to a remarkable edition of The World on a Plate. Here you gather around an abundant Sønderjysk cake buffet and share stories in the company of actress and author Bodil Jørgensen.
As you enjoy the diverse selection of cakes, Bodil Jørgensen takes you on a journey back to her childhood in Sønderjylland. Drawing on her book Little and Happy Enough, she shares with warmth, humor and thoughtfulness stories about everyday life, community and the memories that endure long after childhood is over.
The afternoon will be sensory and cozy – a blend of tastes, memories and personal stories around the table. There is room for presence, recognition and laughter, and perhaps a small surprise awaits along the way. The entire event is characterized by Sønderjysk hospitality, good stories and cakes galore.
