Create your own wall hanging through this creative workshop with an artistic focus on textile expression. You will learn to work with appliqué and image composition, where background, middle ground, and foreground are created meaningfully together.
Throughout the workshop, you explore composition and how fabric can function as an artistic medium. You determine your own approach — work from a motif you bring with you, or go completely abstract. Various fabric scraps are provided, but feel free to bring your own materials. No prior experience is required, only a desire to create and experiment with woven art forms.
The event lasts 4 hours and coffee and tea are included in the price.
