In autumn 2026, Kunstmuseum Brandts presents a collection display of works by Keld Helmer-Petersen. The exhibition brings together more than 60 photographs that focus on overlooked everyday motifs such as door handles, summer clouds, and shadows on house walls, showing how he transformed simple details into art in both black-and-white and color.
Keld Helmer-Petersen had his major breakthrough in 1948 with the book 122 Farvefotografier. He is regarded as a key figure in introducing modernism into Danish photography. Admission: Free admission with annual pass or paid admission. Venue: Kunstmuseum Brandts.
