Emil Brix from the Association Against Pig Factories and Copenhagen Council Member Anne Skau Styrishave from Odense Municipality discuss agriculture's impact on society and the environment. In spring 2025, TV2 broadcast an in-depth documentary on conditions in industrial pig farming, raising questions about animal welfare, resource consumption, and public health.
Following this exposure, the two meet for a live conversation about animal welfare, drinking water quality, greenhouse gases, antibiotic resistance, and accountability. The debate explores what local authorities can concretely achieve within their area – drawing on earlier successful efforts against environmental pollution from horticulture.
The audience is invited to ask questions and participate actively in the discussion. Admission: 50–90 DKK.
