A modern theatrical interpretation of H.C. Andersen's classic tale about Thumbelina – the girl who can sleep in a walnut shell. Follow her wondrous and perilous journey through a universe where all of nature appears in thumb-size proportions.
The production explores what it means to find your own path when the world around you constantly seeks to control you. Thumbelina is swept by currents, abducted through the air, trapped underground – and encounters beings who attempt to dominate her. But a girl must be able to determine her own fate.
This is a harsh, touching and amusing ensemble story, brought to life by four talented performers with music, handmade puppets and magical theatrical solutions. An experience designed to captivate both children and adults.
