Nuclear energy is back on the agenda in Denmark. TensionLab is an experimental research workshop that explores what happens when people with different perspectives meet around this important issue. Through creative, embodied, and arts-based activities, we examine thoughts, feelings, and reactions to nuclear energy.
You can write, move, listen, reflect, or create something together with others. There is no position you need to defend, and no consensus we need to reach. The idea is to stay with the tension—and see what becomes possible.
Who can participate?
Anyone who is curious. You might be strongly pro-nuclear, strongly against it, somewhere in between, or completely undecided. No prior knowledge of nuclear energy or artistic experience is needed—only a willingness to experiment and engage with perspectives different from your own.
Practical info
The workshop lasts approximately 3 hours and is followed by pizza and drinks. The event is held in English, and Danish is very welcome. TensionLab is a research project from Mobilizing Post-Anthropocentric Climate Action (PACA) at the University of Southern Denmark, exploring how creative methods can help us navigate polarized societal questions.
