TensionLab is an experimental research workshop exploring what happens when people with different perspectives gather around the topic of nuclear energy. In Denmark, the issue is back on the agenda, raising important questions about climate, technology, risk, and the futures we imagine.
Through creative, embodied, and arts-based activities, the workshop offers opportunities to explore thoughts, feelings, and reactions surrounding nuclear energy. You can write, move, listen, reflect, or create something together with other participants. There is no position you need to defend, and no agreement we must reach – the idea is to stay with the tension and see what becomes possible.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are strongly pro-nuclear, strongly against it, or somewhere in between. You need no prior knowledge of nuclear energy or artistic experience – what matters most is curiosity and willingness to experiment.
The workshop lasts around 3 hours, followed by dinner and drinks. The event takes place in English, and Danish is also welcome.
