The special exhibition YOUNG IN THE 80s can be experienced at Tidens Samling until d. 12. december 2026. It focuses on youth life in the 1980s, from brightly coloured fashion, shoulder pads and Moon Boots to authentic home settings such as teenage bedrooms, trendy High-Tech interiors and the home of the young family.
The exhibition also features iconic objects from the decade, including Walkman, cassette tapes, Ghettoblaster, Rubik's Cube and Moviebox. It is aimed both at those who remember the 80s themselves and at children and young people who can learn about the everyday life of earlier generations and see how today's fashion and trends are reflected in the recent past.
Tidens Samling is open Mandag-lørdag kl. 10-16 (inkl. helligdage), while Søndag is closed. Admission: voksne 75 kr., børn og unge 6-17 år 30 kr., børn u. 6 år gratis.
