The drawing and watercolor retreat at Dallund Slot invites you to three creative days in historic surroundings at Dallundvej 63, 5471 Søndersø. Participants will work with both watercolor and drawing techniques, filling sketchbooks with motifs from nature, the castle’s architecture, and modern design. The course focuses on letting go of perfectionism while making room for immersion, conversation, and new friendships.
The course is for everyone regardless of level, and the teaching is adapted to each participant’s needs. There is also time for long walks, the bonfire hut, a lake swim, sauna, a nap in the sun, or a quiet moment by the fireplace, while the studio is open around the clock for those who want to keep drawing. The retreat takes place 09-10-11 OKTOBER 2026. The price includes a single/double room incl. meals/water/coffee/tea, while Øl, vand & husets vin can be bought at fine prices via MobilePay. Transport to Dallund or materials for the course are not included. Your registration is binding, and cancellation or change must be made 30 days before the start of the course and costs a cancellation or change fee of 25% of the full course price.
- Materials: A5 or A4 sketchbook – for example a Royal Talens, Moleskine or Seawhite
- A4 pad with watercolor paper
- A small palette with 6-12 “half pans” watercolor paints
- Black waterproof pen: for example Uni-ball Eye fine pen or Uni Pin fine Line 0.7 marker
- A watercolor brush in a good large size, for example size 10 or 12
- A kitchen roll
Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, from the large bridal suite down to single rooms. If two participants want to stay together, they must send their names and order number.
