A photographic exploration of ice as a physical state and landscape-forming element. The photographs are from photographer Anders Graver's work with documentary film in Greenland from 2022-2025, created in collaboration with researchers from GEUS, hunters in Savissivik (North Greenland), and the National Museum of Denmark.
The exhibition focuses on ice's physical forces and how it shapes the landscape. The images encompass inland ice, lakes, glaciers, settlements, and sea ice from North and West Greenland. While climate change affects the Arctic landscape, the exhibition centers on ice itself – a journey into a terrain that is both infinite and reflects human timescale, shaped by both Arctic grandeur and the impacts of climate change.
