Singing joy without performance pressure – ODEON's Singing Club welcomes everyone to monthly gatherings filled with communal singing. All you need to bring is a good mood and love of singing; songbooks are provided, and no singing talent or music reading ability is required.
Each time, 8-10 songs are presented, selected by a special guest – a well-known Funen resident or expert relevant to the month's theme. The songs come from the 18th edition of the Højskolesangbogen hymnal, and after presentation they are sung together in the cosy room at Byens Scene in ODEON's foyer.
Musician and music educator Hanne Askou serves as host and plays violin. The event is completely free, and all you need to do is show up and bring your enthusiasm for singing.
