Fyns Grafiske Værksted invites you to a new exhibition featuring four accomplished graphic artists who have ventured out into the world seeking inspiration from new perspectives. Drawing on H.C. Andersen's words "To travel is to live," Marianne Lindberg Jepsen, Marianne Bastholm Schmidt, Begitte Lynge Andersen, and Elsemarie Albrecht present works reflecting their encounters with new cultures and landscapes.
The artists have travelled to different corners of the world: Marianne Lindberg Jepsen and Marianne Bastholm Schmidt to Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands, Begitte Lynge Andersen to Bali, and Elsemarie Albrecht to Tampere in Finland. Through their artistic work, they reveal how these journeys have transformed their worldview and taken them in new creative directions.
