Join two evenings of advanced pattern construction workshops using miniature patterns. Held Friday, November 13 and Friday, November 27, both from 15:30 to 18:00.
Pattern construction can seem overwhelming, but by working at half scale the process becomes both more enjoyable and manageable. You will learn numerous dart manipulations, bodices, skirts, and techniques for modifying patterns. You'll take home your own library of construction methods to use in future projects while building deeper understanding of how patterns work and how garments are constructed.
Taught by Patricia Burgaya, trained fashion designer and owner of Casa Burgaya Designstudio in Odense. Patricia holds a degree from Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, studied couture embroidery in Paris, and spent three years in Florence working with traditional crafts and design before establishing her studio in 2022.
The price of 485 kr. includes all materials, coffee and tea. The course requires a minimum of 6 participants and maximum 10 per group.
