What sounds do you hear in a book? Join a special story reading session where a children's librarian reads a picture book aloud while a musician improvises music to accompany the story. Children become part of the experience by adding words and sounds to the narrative alongside the musician.
After the reading, everyone participates in a game or sings a song connected to the day's book. Each session has its own theme, carefully chosen to support learning objectives – such as the body, cooperation, sharing, and other important topics for young children.
As a special thank-you, all children receive a letter to take home to their parents along with a small drawing they can colour in themselves.
