Meet poet and journalist Victor Boy Lindholm for an inspiring evening about literature, nature, and hope. Over recent years, Victor has published works exploring climate, nature, and humanity's relationship with the environment. In 2025, he released Every Day Is a New Hope – On Fishing in a Changed Nature, which explores his passion for catching fish while witnessing nature's transformation.
Through the book, we follow Victor on a journey through damaged seas and waterways, where he meets people for whom fishing means everything. He reports from a Denmark where fishing becomes an exercise in hope – not merely the hope of landing fish, but the deeper hope that the nature we love can be preserved for the future.
At this Literary Wednesday, Victor Boy Lindholm discusses the significance of water and the sea for us as a connection between regions and people, and how literature can help us understand and protect our nature.
