Kontiki - 101 dage tilbage is a theatre performance about setting out into the unknown and navigating by your own inner compass. The audience is taken out to sea, where courage, solitude and trust become crucial when the journey unfolds across the great oceans.
The performance is inspired by Thor Heyerdahl's expedition in 1947, when the Norwegian anthropologist and scientist set out on a perilous voyage on a wooden raft. The idea and concept are by Holdet, the staging is by Alex Byrne, and the cast includes Klaus Weirup Andersen, Anders Valentinus Dam and Bastian Popp. Scenography is by Claus Helbo, and the performance is presented in collaboration with Nørregaards Teater at Teater Momentum.
