Dansk Guitar Selskab invites you to an intimate concert with guitarist Jeppe Holst, known for his wide-ranging musical style. The programme is based on his critically acclaimed trilogy for acoustic 7-string solo guitar, "Holst plays Holst - Here, There, Minor Everywhere", featuring personal compositions inspired by South American guitar music, jazz, Nordic lyrical melodies, and more modern compositional techniques. Jeppe Holst has, among others, recorded and toured with Benny Andersen and Dodo, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, DR BigBand, and Nikolaj Bentzons Big Brotherhood.
The concert takes place on Sunday 4 October at 15:00 at Frølageret (Farvergården 7) in central Odense. As a warm-up before Jeppe Holst's concert, Odense Music School's guitar orchestra Da Capo will perform a couple of pieces. Admission: 50 kr.
