A cosy autumn Halloween gathering at Skolehaven Falen, where you can meet other people and enjoy a lovely autumn day in Odense. The event combines creative activities and community with local cultivation of both gifts and conversations.
First from 11:00 to 12:30, you carve jack-o'-lanterns and paint glass jar lanterns. Then from 12:30 to 13:30, you prepare and eat pumpkin soup together. The event is popular with limited spaces, so registration is required by Saturday, October 1. Participation is free.
Practical Information
- Location: Skolehaven Falen, Falen 155 Odense SV
- Time: 11:00–13:30
- Bring one pumpkin per child who wants to carve a jack-o'-lantern and/or one glass jar per child for a glass jar lantern
- Bring a blanket and cushions if you wish — hot drinks will be provided
- Bring your own cutlery, plates and cups
- You are welcome to bring cake or other treats to share (optional)
- Dress appropriately for the weather — in case of heavy rain, the event will be postponed to a later date and announced via email and Facebook
- Parking is limited; please come by bike if possible
- Registration deadline: Saturday, October 1
The event is organized by volunteers from Odense International Garden in cooperation with the University of Southern Denmark and International House Odense.
