DYNAMO invites you to a Halloween night with a dark and intense atmosphere, where the party continues late into the night among monsters, freaks, misfits, and other outcasts. As part of the evening, you can also experience the performance The Shedding at 20.00, created and performed by contortionist Elise Reine.
The Shedding is a violent and experimental performance about transformation, life changes, and the search for a love that extends to death. The audience is seated facing one another with their attention directed toward the performer, while the work centers on the artist’s body, thoughts, and madness. Elise Bjerkelund Reine presents a raw piece that merges circus, performance art, visual art, theatre, and dance, while examining both the sexualization of the contortionist and romanticized portrayals of violence against women.
The performance begins at 20.00. A separate ticket is required for The Shedding. The event takes place at Dynamo - Workspace for circus & performing arts.
