Preview performance. Marie Grubbe - Part 2 is the second part of a sensual serial theatre production about a woman with many fates. Based on J.P. Jacobsen's novel, the performance presents an intense portrait of Marie as she challenges the norms of her time while trying to shape her own life.
In part 2, the audience meets a Marie who is admired and desired, yet also driven by unrest, a longing for freedom, and desire. A marriage promises security and status, but beneath the surface tensions grow, and forbidden connections, passion, shame, and loss take up more and more space. The production can be experienced as serial theatre over two evenings, and when buying a ticket for the serial theatre, you must remember to buy both part 1 and 2. Venue: Odense Teaters Teatersal. Admission: 140 kr.
