Meet artist Annette Bøge Huulvej at the opening of her solo exhibition, featuring prints, paintings, and sculptures – almost all inspired by birds and other flying creatures. The exhibition also marks the artist's debut as an independent artist, with the title reflecting this sense of freedom.
Annette works with etching techniques on old zinc and copper plates, meticulously scratching and etching her works. She loves the unpredictability of the process – nature's influence on the materials becomes part of the artwork. For her sculptures, she uses natural materials and found objects combined with traditional techniques such as rope binding and willow weaving.
The artist will be present and share stories about the exhibition's creation as well as demonstrate the various techniques used. An opportunity to meet an artist on her journey and experience her world filled with flying creatures and artistic freedom.
