Rannok consists of the duo Theis Langlands and Michael Graubæk. The concert offers intense interplay and a repertoire ranging from raw, swinging polkas to atmospheric ballads and warm-hearted waltzes. With a shared passion for old melodies, they present both fresh takes on ancestral music and their own compositions.
The duo has released two albums and received "Årets Debut Album" at the Danish Music Awards 2011. Theis Langlands has won several prizes at DMA Folk, and Michael Graubæk was appointed rigsspillemand on violin in 2014. The concert takes place at Kulturmaskinen - Frølageret. Admission is 100 kr., or 50 kr. for young people under 25, people affiliated with the evening school Skibhus 17:48, Grønland, and members of Fynboerne. The event is supported by Odense Musikudvalg and Statens Kunstfond.
