Carmen is presented as a guest performance by Den jyske opera in collaboration with Odense Symphony Orchestra. Georges Bizet's opera from 1875 portrays Carmen as a freedom-seeking and complex central character, while the production also highlights the dark power dynamics between men and women that the work revolves around.

The performance is sung in Danish with Danish surtitles. Music by Georges Bizet, with libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy. Venue: Odense Koncerthus. Admission: 210-465 kr.
