Bourbon Street Jazzband celebrates their 70th season with traditional jazz, which has taken root in Denmark since 1956. The orchestra is renowned for its outstanding stability among Danish jazz bands through the decades. Musically, they present an uncompromising repertoire within traditional jazz, boogie-woogie and swing – all performed in an energetic, danceable style supported by well-orchestrated brass arrangements, a pulsating rhythm section and skilled vocal performances.
