Join a book launch with Signe Biering Röpke and Anatolie Cantir at Borgernes Hus in Odense, where they will present their new book The Unhappiest Expats in the Happiest Country in the World. The event focuses on international perspectives, belonging, and culture, with reflections on Denmark, feeling at home, and what it means to belong.
The authors will expand on the book’s main themes and examine five deeply rooted Danish values: Equality, Trust, Independence, Privacy, and Humor. Their central argument is that these same values can also create invisible barriers for expats trying to integrate and feel at home in Denmark. The event is free, but sign-up is mandatory, and the number of tickets is limited.
