Join a fun color day at Farvergården at Kulturmaskinen, where you can explore the magical world of batik and tie dye coloring. In the workshop, we unfold many creative techniques: we wrap with strings, tighten with rubber bands, tie knots and beads to small pockets, and fold fabric around blocks. Each trick creates unique patterns.
Bring two cotton or silk items (preferably white) that you want to dye – this could be a t-shirt and a shirt, or whatever you'd like. We set up four different dye baths, and it's spectacular to unwrap your dyed textiles and see the result. We have aprons available, but we recommend wearing clothes that can tolerate getting dye on them.
