August Høyen goes on tour in autumn 2026, returning to Danish venues and performing in the four largest Danish cities. He made his breakthrough in 2023 with the debut EP 'Det Hele Handler Om Dig', followed by P3's Uundgåelige, a debut album, appearances at Roskilde Festival, Heartland and NorthSide, as well as a string of sold-out shows across the country. Musically, he combines inspiration from country and soul in a direct and personal songwriting style.
August Høyen's path into music began with drums, later singing, and then guitar, and the song 'Forsvinder' became an important turning point in defining his artistic direction. In August 2024, he released the debut album 'August', and he has also released the singles 'Verona' and 'Gav Det Et Skud'. On stage, he works among others with T&O Laurits Smedegaard Andersen, and the large band concerts in 2026 follow earlier intimate concerts with strings and brass in Musikhuset Aarhus' Store Sal and at the legendary Gamle Scene in Det Kongelige Teater.
